Slightly more ductile than Blue #1, it's widely used in crafting traditional Japanese knives, beloved by chefs for its resilience and sharpness, albeit is slightly softer than Blue 1.

Lovely knife for the money. Well balanced and cuts beautifully. Very easy to sharpen to a razor edge that lasts well during regular use cutting a variety of meats & vegetables. Very happy with purchase.

It’s a small prep knife, very sharp and good for the price. Mine had a small chip on the blades edge but was easily removed. It definitely has me wanting more like this
