Yoshikane

Yoshikane Hamono have been making some of Japan’s finest chef knives out of a factory in Sanjo, Niigata for over 100 years. This workshop is held in such high esteem, that many future master blacksmiths began their apprenticeships here. Kazuomi Yamamoto is at the helm, and under his direction Yoshikane have become one of the best known knifemakers in Japan.
