Sardines and tomato is about as traditional as tinned fish gets, and Porthos keep it that way. Sardines, tomato, a little sunflower oil and salt. Nothing to get in the way.

It's the tin I'd reach for when I want dinner without much thought. Warm it through in a pan with a chopped garlic clove and a pinch of chilli flakes, then toss it with pasta. Or eat it cold on toast with some torn basil. Like the rest of the range, it's made by a family company that's been at this for more than a hundred years.
