First-knife questions

Stainless or carbon for a first knife?

Start with stainless. All three here are VG10 or Ginsan, which resist rust and need less babysitting while you build your habits.

Do I need a saya or sheath?

Not to start. A saya protects the edge in a drawer, but a knife block or magnetic strip works just as well.

How do I keep it sharp?

A few passes on a whetstone every few weeks. We stock beginner-friendly stones and have step-by-step guides.

Shipping and returns?

Taxes and duties are included in the price, so there is nothing extra to pay on delivery. 14-day returns: store credit for change of mind, and a full refund where required.
