Introducing

Tsunehisa

Tsunehisa is a collaborative brand of makers from Sakai, Tosa, and other famous knifemaking regions of Japan. These knives draw on the expertise of each region in relation to their particular steel types. For example Tosa is known for their spectacular Ginsan, Sakai with carbon steels. The Tsunehisa brand represent exceptional value for money with fantastic fit and finish paired with the best knifemaking steels Japan has to offer.

Blade Type

The Petty is a small utility knife, perfect for small mincing, dicing, trimming, and fruit.

Steel Type

Blue Steel is a traditional, high-carbon steel made by Hitachi Metals in Japan. It is the favourite steel of many knife makers and chefs across the world for it’s fantastic edge holding ability, toughness, and ease of sharpening. It contains few stainless elements, and as such will develop a patina, and may develop rust spots if left wet after use.

WORTH THE MONEY

Recently purchased my first knife for Chefs Edge & the quality is superb, these knifes are the real deal and look like a piece of art in the kitchen and cut like nothing else I have used. Delivery was faultless and fast. Just made a second purchase as I was so happy with the first. Should have done this years ago as tired of blunt cheap knives. These will last a life time and age to perfection with a little care. Very happy customer and Chefs Edge is now my go to. Thanks for being so awesome.
